Depression.

A few days in the heat, the suns rays gently smoothing a golden glow on to my skin. Blue sky surrounding each cotton candy cloud as I coast on the desert highway. No traffic lights in sight, only open road and infinite opportunity ahead.

  • Crash

Tossed into a cold where bones don’t chill, they shatter. Frozen from head to toenail with nothing but nakedness for cover. Icicles dropping in unison and descending on to their target. Their orders to capture me, dead or alive, mission nearing completion. Falling into the wind, succumbing to it’s demands to surrender, I wave my snow colored flag. Defeat
